The association's governing document is the Constitution and Bylaws that were revised by the Executive Board of Directors in 2012. To see this document click here. There are also copies available in the newsletter boxes at the jail and the office downtown.

The Sheriff’s Law Enforcement Association of McLennan County is committed to promoting the professional standards of the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office by maintaining a positive and professional image of the sheriff’s office with the support of the association.  The association strives to diligently perform our duties in keeping the sheriff’s office a safe and secure place of employment.   Our dedication to our job’s past, present and future are second to none.  We will continue to meet and exceed the standards set forth by the Texas Association of Counties, the Texas Commission on Jail Standards and the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education.

As the association grows we want to continue to have a positive impact on decisions made that affect our job and place of employment.  The Sheriff’s Law Enforcement Association of McLennan County is dedicated to promoting benevolent, educational, charitable, civic, patriotic, and fraternal activities among the members.   Lastly, we will always maintain a true allegiance and faith in the laws of the State of Texas and the Constitution of the United States of America.
